West Leyden- Connie F. (Cihocki) Lisowski, 56, of Rhimiller Road, passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, New Hartford. She was born in Constableville, on May 22, 1959, a daughter of Richard E. and Patricia Genther Cihocki, Sr. A life-long resident of the West Leyden area, she received her education at West Leyden Elementary School, graduating from Adirondack Central School, Boonville, with the Class of 1978. Thereafter for many years she was employed as a wooden clock case maker for Alex Brown Clock Co. West Leyden; following that she was employed as a bar tender for many area bar establishments. Later Connie enrolled at Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, where she earned an Associate's Degree in Psychology. Her last employment for many years was as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, at area nursing homes. On June 30, 1979, she married Randy M. Lisowski, at St. Mary's Church, West Leyden. Connie greatly enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and working on cross word puzzles. Connie is survived by her husband, Randy; two sons, Shane (Bethany) Lisowski, Westminster, MD, and Joshua, Deerfield; her father, Richard E. Cihocki, Sr; one brother, Rick (Linda) Cihocki; two sisters, Marianne (Bob) O'Hara, all of West Leyden, and Lori LaGatta, Deerfield, and nieces and nephews; Remington and Rilee O'Hara, Dillon and Delaney Meagher and Stephen LaGatta. She was predeceased by her mother, Pat Cihocki, in 2003, and her maternal grandparents, Arnold and Alma Genther, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Sophie Cihocki. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
