Not sure what to say?

Annette:
So sorry to hear of Conrad's passing. I received a message from Catholic Theological Association. He was a fabulous teacher, a great example and I am a better person for having known him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Annette, I was saddened to hear of your loss and sorry that I did not hear in time to be with you for the funeral celebration. Connie was a wonderful man, great husband and fine friend. I will miss him. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. You had such a good relationship and he loved you dearly. But he is now in the very presence of the God whom he proclaimed and whom he loved. He is starring at that wonderful face of mercy and loving his new life. We can't ask for more. ...

Annette and family, I send my deepest condolences on the loss of Conrad. He taught me several classes on my way to a master's degree at Ursuline. He was always so full of joy and wisdom and the experiences that he had had he was more than willing to share his thoughts about them and invite our thoughts about them also. I think of Conrad when I think of Ursuline's motto: Values Voice, Vision as he helped me find my voice. And for that I will be forever grateful to him.

Each of you, loved ones of Conrad, will be remembered in prayer as you grieve his loss. I worked with Conrad at Ursuline College and fondly remember his gentlemanly, scholarly ways. May God bring you comfort because he now enjoys the face of our loving God.

Dear Annette,

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Conrad. He was a strong faith filled man who shared his love of Christ with so many. His time at Our Lady of Peace was a blessing to me.

May God grant you comfort and peace.

Love,
Elaine Czekansky

Conrad's influence on our faith is but a small part of of his legacy. He helped so many of us know God better. Annette, may you and your families feel our love and know that our prayers join with yours for what your lives need without his earthly presence.

1 Corinthians 2:9 What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him

Conrad is resting in the arms of his Loving Savior.

Conrad remains a fine man and a beacon for us to follow. I will miss his humor and wit, scholarship and care for the person. I will miss him, as will many. Please receive our condolences with a warm embrace.
