Corene Ann McGovern

I had heard of her passing a couple of years ago. I couldn´t believe what I was reading. Corene was beautiful, smart and full of personality. I adored her. I wish we kept in touch. I am visiting Aspen and am thinking of her and Gail and Linda all over again. I pray your grief has eased even if just a little.

Corene, you were and are my Forever Valentine. You made my childhood fabulous and time and distance could never stop me from loving you everyday. Everyone knows how I felt about you, and I loved reconnecting with you.

She was my amazing friend and cheerleader, being my wind beneath my wings encouraging my move to Nantucket last year...packing my things up in Boston and accompanying me to Nantucket to facilitate the move and help select my furniture and decor, of course! We were looking forward to traveling together off season and we were always in touch.
She was great friend and confidante, and I can’t imagine life without her. I’ll love her forever and I will miss her with all my heart.
