Cornelius Carroll is my friend Jim's father. I never had the opportunity to meet him yet learned of his life in Bridgeport through the many lively stories told by his son Jim. His life of hard work, a thirst for knowledge and love of family and community came alive in those stories. His marriage of 59 years showed love and commitment to his vows made long ago. His legacy is mirrored in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Well done, rest easy and be at peace. My thoughts and prayers...
