Cornelius Carroll is my friend Jim's father. I never had the opportunity to meet him yet learned of his life in Bridgeport through the many lively stories told by his son Jim. His life of hard work, a thirst for knowledge and love of family and community came alive in those stories. His marriage of 59 years showed love and commitment to his vows made long ago.
