Not sure what to say?

I have been back in Ireland over 20 years and living in a small village in the "Glens of Antrim". While talking to a neighbor this morning he asked where I had spent time abroad. I told him San Francisco and he said my mother's cousin was out there. It was Conn. He told me of Conn's passing and I have to say I was saddened. I met Conn in 1965 when I arrived from Belfast. As a young man I remember Conn getting me out of some bother in the " Carousel Ballroom" What a nice...

We overlapped for a brief time with Conn & Marge at Alma Via. Jim Hagan had become a good friend over the past 18 months, so we were pleased to meet his brother, Conn. I remembered meeting Marge over 50 years ago at one of the dances.

My condolences to Marge, Frank and the Hagan family as you grieve during this unusual time. We pray that all those who knew and loved Conn will be able to convene soon to support one another.

Very sad to hear of the death of Conn Hagen. My father (William Doherty) & Conn's mother Mary were first cousins. Here in Donegal that connection is very strong, caring and extremely close. I visited San Francisco in 1981 and on instructions from my uncle Eddie, made contact with Conn. Conn arrived & picked myself & my husband up and we dined in Fishermans wharf that evening with Conn & the rest of the family who were around. Nothing compared to the hospitality &...
