Not sure what to say?

I just found out that Craig passed away, and although I am really late in writing, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am. You may not remember us, but my husband, Gerald, and I lived next door to you on LaSalle.

We thought a lot of you and Craig and appreciated having you as neighbors. I can't imagine what you're going through but I hope it helps in some small way to know we're thinking of you.

Take care.

I had the privilege of working with this wonderful man for 16 years at Mercy as a sign language interpreter. We worked some terrible cases together but he never lost his cool and had a fabulous bedside presence. I moved back to Columbia in 2016 and was able to work with him again at MU. We had a lot of fun catching up and his calming presence gave a lot of hope to patients and their families. I will miss his tender smile and kindness. Prayers for the family.

We've been out of town and out of touch. Just heard about Craig, but we have been thinking about him. I knew Craig as a great physician and we both knew him as an all around good guy. Sadly the medical community has lost yet another great man. Mona and I are so sorry for your loss.

So fortunate to know this fine man. Condolences to the family and many friends.

Very sorry to hear of Dr. Downs passing. I interacted professionally with him over many years and always found him to be such a skilled, and compassionate physician. So many children have benefitted from his care. A loss.

Marcia and family, wish we could be there with you. Thinking of you. Remember, Look for the sunshine! Love you, Wayne and Betty

So sorry for your loss. I worked many years with him and have the utmost respect for him as a physician and a person. Prayers for your family.

I am saddened to hear of Craig's passing. I worked with him for years as a pediatrician and as an emergency physician in our group. He was a wonderful person. He was knowledgeable and kind to coworkers and patients. His is a great loss, and I will miss him.

I had the opportunity to work with his kids at Glendale High School, Springfield, Missouri.

I remember seeing Dr. Downs at athletic activities supporting his kids. I knew him as a loving father and a kind man, something kids long for so often and never get. Dr. Downs was a Glendale Super Dad!

Dr. Downs was a valuable contribution to Springfield.

Thanks for being such a blessing to so many!
