Not sure what to say?

Craik, you were always someone I looked up to in my early scouting days. You, whether you know it or not, opened my eyes to Liz Phair and U2 at an age when I couldn't appreciate it but grew into. You are someone who left a lasting impression on me and you won't be forgotten. May the wind always be at your back.

Craik was one of my first Boy Scouts. Craik & Dan helped break me in as Scoutmaster for Troop 36. He was kind and gentle with me. My most vivid memory of Craik is from a Fall Camporee that we attended along the Susguehanna River near Sunbury. The big event was a canoe race in the River. Craik and Dan were determined to win this event. With great determination and skill they indeed did come in first place. I believe this was the first award that Troop 36 achieved while I was Scoutmaster. It is...

To Craik & family,

I remember meeting all of you at Scout Troop # 36 at St. Margaret Mary's Church. Somehow I was rewarded the job that was "Mrs. "Dewar's..I think anyway--keeping track of achievements and merit badges..but it was very easy to do since she is so organized. I remember the times that Craik and Dan would hang out with our son, Harris. I remember one Saturday when they were all "fixing" a TV or a computer.I am not too sure which object it was..but it was quite a...

Craik, I didn't realize how hard writing to you would be... 5 paragraphs just doesn't do you any justice. I remember meeting you back in 6th grade and becoming friends right away. We had so many good times, I don't even know where to start... Globetrotting to Europe, fun little pranks, working EVERY farm show event possible, talking cars/computers, going clubbing in Baltimore, I never had a dull moment hanging out with you and we got along so well. I could always count on you to be a part of...

We all miss you Craik, your time with us was so short. I was lucky enough to have had some great times with you while you were here, and I can say your quick wit and intelligence always brought a smile to my face, and you will not be forgotten. I'll make sure when I get up there with you to buy a round of Guinness and bring a cigar! Like your car, your life here was a little too fast! Peace be with you,

Jesse

Craik, I miss you buddy! You were part of my family, since 1st grade. My other brother. Who am I going to bug about my computer problems, now that you aren't here? Who is going to answer my car questions or give me advice on everything? I'll still ask you, I guess the answers just won't be as clear. We all miss you and can't believe that you aren't here. I have an infinite amount of memories, some I've been able to share with family and friends over the last couple of days... I'm glad you got...

I didn't know Craik very well with the exception of our Seminar trip to Germany where we had a lot of fun. To his family, I am sorry for your loss!

Craik will be sadly missed. I will remember his love of cars, his computer guru-ness, his big laugh, his ability to converse on any subject with enthusiasm and intelligence, and his commitment to his friends. He left us too soon.
