Crystal Marguerite Mack, 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in Grapevine. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Dancing River Assisted Living and Memory Care, 3735 Ira E. Woods Ave., Grapevine, Texas 76051. Crystal was born on Feb. 9, 1920, in Quinlan to Daniel Alan Cannon and Alma Turner Cannon. She was raised in Quinlan, the youngest of nine children. A Fort Worth resident for over 70 years, she worked as an aircraft employee at General Dynamics (Lockheed). Crystal started her nursing career at All Saints LVN School. She retired from H.E.B. Hospital's newborn nursery in 1985. Crystal enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved her dogs. She was a doting mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was married Christmas Day of 1942 to Roy Mack from Lone Oak, Texas, who preceded her in death in December of 2000. Survivors: Daughters, Judy Spain and husband, Lynn, and Danna Knapik and Glen Sardella; grandchildren, Tommy "Duffy" Spain and wife, Denise and Kristin Potts and husband, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Treyson, Alexis and Gage Spain and J.D., Jackson and Justice Potts.
