JONES, CURTIS ALLEN, SR., 69 of Louisville, passed away suddenly at his home on October 6, 2020.

Curtis was a fulltime family man, part time genuine “you know what” and sober for a wonderful 28 years. Curtis was devoted to his loving wife for 47 years and adored all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Curtis was preceded in death by parents Henry Jones and Barbara Jones. Siblings Jeanette, Charlie, Eddie and Vickie. Curtis is survived by his wife, the former Mary “Bridget” Winebrenner, 4 sons Curtis (Raygina), Jason (Tyler), Brandon (LeeAnn) and Jeffery, eight grandchildren Alaina, Mary Allison, Andrew, Katelyn, Rachel, Marshall, Preston, and Kaden, two great grandchildren Jaxson “Jackie boy” and Alice. He is also survived by his siblings Billy Peak, Roger Peak and numerous nieces and nephews, along best buddy Jarvis and countless other family and close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Curtis at 10 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Our Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 747 Harrison Avenue at Eastern Parkway with burial to immediately follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. Curtis never met a stranger, and will be greatly missed by all.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: due to the fact that the limit inside the funeral home at any one time is 40 people and some families are large, it is suggested that you stay home and sign the online register book at www.bossefh.com. If you do come in person to the visitation, be mindful that congregating more than a brief moment is prohibited at this time, so please sign the register book, quickly give your condolences to the family and leave to allow others that may be waiting in line outside to do the same. Our lounges are closed during the pandemic and no food or drink is allowed inside the funeral home. It is not recommended that you send any type of flowers or memorial gifts that would be taken home, to help quell the spread of the virus.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Curtis's name to the American Heart Association or Our Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church.
