I had the pleasure of knowing D'Army Bailey when he lived in Berkeley, CA and served on the City Council there. With D'Army and his colleague on the City Council, Ira T. Simmons, I had the privilege of founding and serving as President of an organization called Coordinating Committee for Political Action.
