Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to you Tricia. I know Dakota hung on as long as he could but I guess the guy upstairs had a bigger job for him and he must have agreed to move on to the next plane but the really neat thing is now you have him around you all the time and in time, you will start to see the signs of his presence. For now I think what is needed most from friends is a squeeze of a hand or a hug. You have been through a lot this past year and I for one know some of the pieces of your pain. Take...

Dakota was one of my very best friends. I began working full time before he got sick, and every time I would be home from work for the day, he would be in Dartmouth, or in Boston. I didn't have much time to spend with him, and we could barely find the time to hangout once he was sick. He always had his appointments, and I always had work. I deeply regret this, and wish I could have been there a lot more for him during his fight. Everytime I heard in advance about a party or event for him, I...

If Heaven weren't So Far Away. Is a perfect song for Dakota. Although I never met him, as mother who has babies in heaven I understand the loss, the memories and the empty arms. God Bless You take your time to heal sweet girl.

our hearts and prayers go out to you all in this time if sorrow. Dakota will always be a brave warrior in our minds and your family will not be forgotten. Love from the staff and volunteers at David's House.

Dakota was a classmate of mine. I have to admit that I was not close him but from just seeing him in classes and the halls he seemed like he was a great person. I'd always see him with his friends talking and just being happy. I wish I had actually knew him personally. My deepest prayers and sympathy are with his family and friends. May God be with you in your time of loss. R.I.P Dakota
