He was born on August 1, 1953, in Garden City, Michigan, the son of James and Gloradean Marsh. Dale retired as an officer from the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections. After his retirement he worked as a courier for County National Bank, a position he truly enjoyed. Dale's love for the game of baseball continued from his playing days to several years of coaching youth baseball. Dale's life was dedicated to bringing a smile to everyone he encountered, through his thoughtful gifts and his infectious laugh. He looked forward to watching his grandchildren's sporting events and taking in a round of golf himself. Dale was preceded in death by his father, James Gordon Marsh. Surviving are his mother, Gloradean Ann (Rood) Marsh; beloved wife of 46 years, C. Tina (Sebastian) Marsh; cherished children: James (Katrina) Marsh, Jaclyn (Ed) Riehle and Nicholas Marsh; adored grandchildren: Colton Marsh, Chloe Marsh, Matthew Riehle, Travis Riehle, Colton Shong (Te'a Romanowski), and Ryleigh Marsh; siblings: Vance (Nancy) Marsh, Patti (Mark) Patchett, Shari Marsh and Greg (Toni) Marsh; special aunt, Shirley Schuyler; numerous brothers and sisters in-law; several nieces and nephews; special friends; and his loyal dog, Buddy.
