DAMON BALL

Damon was one of the best friends my father John Palmer ever had. They were ATO fraternity brothers at Southern Miss and stayed close over their long lives. Damon counseled me several times over the course of my legal career. I sure would have liked to have seen him in a courtroom! When I let him know that my father passed away I remember exactly what he said: "I owe that guy a lot." That was classic gratitude and humility from a true southern gentleman. Damon was a special man, gifted in many areas and was a mentor to many young men over his lifetime. I am proud to have known him and we send our love to Sally and family. We will have you all in our prayers and know he is celebrating in heaven!

I had the great privilege of knowing Damon in his legal practice. A kind and decent person and outstanding lawyer, a role model for other lawyers young and old. If the world had more Damon Balls it would be a better place.We will miss him.Our condelences to his friends and family.
