Not sure what to say?

Dear Marilyn, Ken & I were so sorry to hear about your husband. Where have the years gone?? It sounds as if you had a wonderful life together. Love, Mary Snow Baker

I just now learned this and am so sad! Dana...Dr. Spencer was my first college professor and the guy who helped me get my first job as an RD. I will remember him always!

I had the pleasure of working with and for Dr. Spencer. I will always remember Dana "Doc" Spencer with a big smile on his face making his famous "Crabby Spencers" for lunch at Columbia Memorial Hosptial in Hudson, N.Y. He always told me I could be whatever I wanted to be...... he'd be proud to know that after 34 years... I am still here @ CMH! You were RIGHT DOC!!! Thank you!!! To his family... my sympathy.... he truly was one of a kind!

Remembering Dana Spencer: I met Dana during my first Air Force assignment and overseas tour of duty. During this time I was overwhelmed by homesickness and loneliness and realized I had made a terrible mistake. So it seemed. Then I met Dana, he had a wonderful sense of humor and put the difficulties of my life in perspective more than once. Because of Dana, I am eternally grateful, he was a dear friend, occasional confidant. Certainly mentor. He remains and will always be remembered as my...

I am saddened to learn of my Spencer cousin's passing. He was extremely helpful to me with genealogy of my Austin Spencer side of the family. He was intelligent, witty and thoughtful and adored his family. What a void in all our lives.

Shortly after talking to Dana for the very first time, I realized then and there that he was the kind of person the world needed more of. His friendship and trust were as real as his interest in people, both past and present. Like so many others, I'm very thankful for the time he gave to me.

Dana is remembered by us as a very intelligent, gentle man, who cared for his family and loved them very much. Even though we were miles apart he was always willing to send us genealogy when we needed help, and we enjoyed seeing his home with all his memorabilia on the walls. Now he is in the next life with all those families he did the genealogy
for. God Bless, Wayne and Hilda

Dad, I am heartbroken...Thank you for the gift of an inquisitive mind. I'll miss you and our discussions so much. I love you, Dawn

Silly Grandpa
