Not sure what to say?

I like countless others, met Dan in a random way...running around the lake bright and early every morning, he was a constant, friendly presence. Our paths crossed constantly,
At Lunds, Caribou, the garden store...or simply seeing him wave as he drove by in his white jeep. The day after his funeral, I saw a sliver of the moon over his grave, as if he was winking at the world...already onto his next big adventure, no doubt with his beloved dad by his side...miss you Dan. Jill

I was surprised to hear of Danny's passing. I hadn't seen him in a very long time. I recall, with a big smile, our days at Palmer's Bar on the West Bank and all the fun we had. The people we met and hung out with. Danny, you were not only one of the most handsomest men I ever laid eyes on but you also had a genuine and sincere heart full of love. God speed, my friend.

Dan- you will be truly missed. I know Tom will miss your daily visits to his office more than I can say. God bless you! Kate Ascaridis-Pierce (Plano, TX)

Dan always said "Hello" and introduced you to who ever he was having coffee with. He has truly left the world and our city a better place.

Dan, I will miss our backyard, over the fence talks. Especially as we compared the challenges we both faced with the full time care of our elderly parents. Thank you for giving me your guidance, wisdom and strength. Thanks for being my friend and neighbor. Kristi

Dan- you will be missed by all of us in the association. You always lent a hand when needed and tackled whatever needed doing. Who's going to push and shovel me out when I foolishly try to head out in too much snow?

As Lake Calhoun neighbors, we sure enjoyed Dan's cheerful hellos and community updates during our lake walks. Dan could be seen walking around the lake with his dad and then alone most every day. Dan was the most friendly neighbor one could wish for. His active interest in neighborhood events, engaging others, and just watching out for all of us will be sorely missed. I'll always remember how proud Dan was of his dad's accomplishments and his joy in their shared travel and new...

Dan always brought a smile to my face while being at work with his sense of humor. I enjoyed hearing about his travels, stories of his dad, his niece & nephew & life in general. Mr. Big may you rest in peace & know that you will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear the news. From all of us fellow employees of Lunds. We so enjoyed our visits with Dan, when he would come for coffee in the morning. Dan would come in with some interesting news he heard or share one of his many jokes and make us smile. He will be greatly missed.
