Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dan Boone was the quintessential American. He was a man who exhibited strong character and lived his life true to God, family and country. He was humble and soft spoken, and I have always admired the simple way he lived his life while accomplishing many noble feats. Gina Britt Bass, Conyers, Ga.

Our prayers go out to the Boone family. Dan worked for several years at Acme Electric Corp. in the 70s early 80s. He was in charge of our carpentry shop and was a fine man liked by all. I kept up with Dan some over the years and did visit him a few times at Glen Flora. He played chess with many people there and they all said no one could beat him. He will be missed.

Mr. Boone and family impacted my life as a young man in a good way. I'm very thankful for some great memories. My family and I will miss Mr. Boone. Our hearts and love are with each of you.

Whenever Dan Boone's name came up, my father never failed to say, "I always did like Dan Boone." I knew Dan Boone for more than 30 years myself and can fully appreciate my father's sentiment. Every encounter with Dan Boone was an honor to be enjoyed.

Mr. Boone was a gentleman, a devoted father and husband, a carpenter, a blacksmith and farmer. He was an avid reader who was always on the lookout for worthy opponents in chess and Scrabble. Dan was a great...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Boone Family. I spent a lot of time at the boone house growing up and Mr boone was a part of my church family. He was probably the best and most interesting story teller I have ever heard. His life stories. He was a unique man that loved the lord. He will be missed.

To Joe, Janet, Catherine, and Stephen. Just learned of the death of your Dad and want to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with and for you. We have lots of good memories of time we spent with your family in years past.

Love to all of you,
Bob and Peggy Blackwell

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that the thoughts and prayers of many of Stephen's friends and coworkers at RTI Int'l are with you at this time.

Mr. Boone was a member of the former Newgate Community Church and a faithful member who served the Lord. He will be missed. My prayers are for his family.
