FARRELL

DANIEL FARRELL, was a man of contradictions. Born with distinctive, fiery red hair, he sometimes felt the urge to dye it bright green or blue. He was 37 when he passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 but some days looked so much closer to his teen years. His wit, razor sharp some days,...

Not sure what to say?

Dan, I can't believe you are gone. I miss you so much, you were my baby brother and I'm suppose to protect you and stand up for you like I always have.. I will continue to do that.. I love and miss you so much..

This is a picture of me and Danny the day he jumped overboard after my lost fishing rod. I was confused at first, one second we're hooked into a big fish, and the next second there was a big splash and Dan disappeared! He surfaced with my rod in hand, we pulled him into the boat by the seat of his shorts and then he landed the fish! We caught a 50lber that day and a 48 lber as well! We had a lot of great memories from over the years, he was so sincere and quiet. I really liked him a lot and...

Danny and I have been fiends for over 20 years, but in the last six years we became extremely close again. I'll miss his sly smile and his giggle. I'll always remember the time we spent together fondly. Danny, I am so sorry and I hope you know how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. My sincere, heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

I was shocked at Danny's passing and shocked when I saw he was 37. The first time I served him at the Locust, I carded him. He enjoyed a couple yuengling lagers and we often talked about the Phillies. I thought he was a real nice guy.

I never met this gentleman. But, I wish I had. He seems to have been quite a fellow.

I read this with shock and dismay. I'm glad that you became a special man in my daughter, Natalya's life. You were very quiet natured and will be missed. My prayers are with your family. R.I.P. Dan

He may be gone, but never forgotten. I hope he knew how much the people around him loved him. Dan will always have a special place in my heart and soul where he resides. Your family has my very deepest sympathies.

I'll never forget from the time we met at a very young age, and dug for treasures in Pop-Pop's back yard. We were sure they were some amazing discovery we had unearthed. Unbeknownst to us at the time. Pop-Pop was putting the stuff there for us to find. I guess that is how our entire, 30+yr, friendship can be described. We were always searching for something special in this world. Something different from the norm, something adventurous. I never lost touch with Dan for more than a couple years...

Remembering Danny always as a free spirit, resting now, with peace & love, in the arms of his Pop-Pop. We share in your sadness and offer our love and condolences.
