Not sure what to say?

Our friendship and shared music started me on what became the path to my career and whole life. He is very missed.

I pray that Dan has been welcomed into the Lord's Kingdom; I can't count the times Dan has come into my thoughts these past three years. In the words of Padre Pio, "Forgive his faults, sins and failings. Reward his caring, loving generosity." Rest in peace!

Just wanted to mention how lucky my children were to learn music from Mr Moriarty. We miss him and remember his dedication to his students.

Dan and I go back to when he was hired as a music teacher at Mahopac. I will always have fond memories of him. He was bright, creative and a little absent minded. I remember one year when Dan took Fulmar's chorus to a NYSMMA competition in Duchess County. He had miscounted the number of students going and went off without a dozen kids. We got a smaller bus and I led the driver to the right school just in time to perform. They came back with the gold. Ah well! My heart goes out Mary and...

He was the best music teacher ever i will miss him deeply, and his spirit will always remain in our lives for years to come.

Our deepest sympathies to the family or Mr Daniel Moriarty. We were blessed to have known him, and so very thankful that our children were so fortunate to learn music from such a marvelous teacher. He inspired all of them, and us parents too. His music continues to live in our hearts, and we will remember him always.

Sad news about Dan. He was a senior when I was a freshman in high school. A very talented musician, and a very quiet guy, always pleasant and polite. My condolences to his wife, children and friends and family. My prayers are with you at this time.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Many Sundays I was at Transfiguration Church and would see Dan and his wife and his children when they were young . You could see there was something special there ..and how proud his wife and his children must have been of their dad and his beautiful music.. They say singing in church is "praying twice" How many prayers went off to heaven through his music . When my husband and my mom died I felt peace in his music . May you find peace in knowing that he is now in the the arms of Almighty God
