Not sure what to say?

Hi Dan,

You're an uncle! Last year, on your birthday, my son was born. He's strong, inquisitive, and brings a smile to everyone he meets. A real charmer.

You've touched the lives of so many people and made the world a better place.

We all miss you very much.

Dan. I remember you at Cal like it was yesterday. Even in our silly old Chips 70s uniform, your professionalism and esprit de corp was inspiring! I think about you all the time. Until we see your smiling face again someday. Alonso

I was driving home from work tonight and you popped into my head, so I decided to look you up. I was deeply saddened to find out of your passing. We knew each other years ago from an EMT class we had together in Big Bear. After getting to know each other we learned we had so much in common- the same birthday and both diabetic. You taught me so much and helped me when I struggled. We took a rode trip from Oakland to Big Bear and had a blast. i will forever remember you! My condolences to your...

Danny,

Yep it's me, Danny Stevenson. Even though we had not talked in years we still shared many things together. I still have many fond memmories of playing soccer with each other in Big Bear. Remember the year we were undefeated and your dad was our coach? That was the best year!

I remember when you were considering coming to work for San Bernardino Sheriff before you got married and me trying to convince your mom for you to come so we could work together.

I miss you buddy.

Dear Dan,

It's been one year and the saddness of the tragedy that took place is still very bitter. Renier and I have not taken down the post card photo of you, Irv, Hege and Dunakin that was made to honor all of you. It still sits in our living room. We honor you today for your sacrafice and bravery and for what I've learned you were as a husband and precious father. Your family, and the Hege, Romans, and Dunakin Families our in our prayers always.

Dear Dan,
I still think about all of you. I framed and kept the program so as to have your pictures near me so that no one can ever forget. You will be a hero until the end of time.

Dear Danny,
In less than one year this Guest Book has grown to 165 pages. These pages have been written through tears by all of us - your friends. Some of us have not seen you since we were very young. Many more have had your everyday presence stolen from their lives. Others have never met you but truly understand what a loss it is to no longer have the chance.

Danny, I wish I could have told you what a difference you made every time you helped me out and gave me kindness....

We are remembering you with the greatest respect and honor. We are keeping your family in our prayers.
