Not sure what to say?

Dear Salas family,
My husband and I, and our two sons send prayers for comfort and strength through these days of unimaginable loss. My son Deric shared some wonderful experiences with Daniel at Campbell University -- please know that freshman class, and especially Kitchin Hall, is in mourning. Daniel touched a lot of lives there, and his light will continue to shine. I am thankful that Daniel was blessed with a large and loving family. May you lift each other up, surround yourselves...

There are no words that will comfort you and your family at this time but know that our hearts and prayers are with you. All our love, Eric, Pauline, Marc, Nicholas and Tara

There are no words of comfort , no reason that will ease the pain. Only time to help numb the sense's and lull the mind into short terms of relative quiet until the memorys come flooding back , often unexpectedly and sometimes not even for a reason you can remember. This is how I believe a lost loved one lives on and continues to be a part of and affect our lives . Each one of us who's lives have been touched by this young man will carry him forward to a day and time when we all gather and...

There is no harder journey than that of losing a child. Stay strong and united and you will survive day by day. Please know I am always there if you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to yell with or anything else. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. Sherry, Jimmy & Lindsey Odom and Drew Stevens, Class of 2010.

Tammy, May God be with you now and the days ahead. We recently lost Ray, and I can not tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your child. I can only tell you to try and hold on and take 1 minute at a time. It is so hard, but everyone tells you it will get better. Just keep praying to get through it. May God hold on to each and everyone of you. Love Mary Anne Carter and girls.

Uncle Frank, AuntTammy, Marleen, JR and Alex,
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Love Always
