Not sure what to say?

To the Schorr Family,

Boy, was he a outstanding journalist and speaker who took no nonsense from anybody.
I know his family and friend miss him very much.
Cling to the many memories he must have made over the years.
Psalms 34:18-"God is near to those broken at heart..."

You can feel that Death can leave a heartache that nothing can heal, just know that Love can leave a memory that no one can steal.

The Grant Family

He was a remarkable journalist and I looked forward to hearing him on NPR. He reported on some of the most important stories of my time and the history of this country. I will miss him.

My condolances to the Schorr family.I wish to thank them for letting us take part in celebrating his life.A man's reputation, is the most important measure of a man's life. Mr. Schoor left us a legacy about truth and honesty.

Mr. Schorr was a blessing with his sweet laughter and wit and personality added to his forthright journalism.
I will really miss listening to him tell us what is happening. Condolensces to the Shorr family.

He was simply "my hero". I looked forward to his reporting every Saturday morning on NPR. Reporters, like Dan were a unique breed that have disappeared in the mainstream media. You are already missed.

He was a grand old man of journalism. I grew up with his reporting and his passion made world events exciting and real to me. Thank you God for Daniel Schorr.

I will miss his voice, his insight, wit and style, but most of all the substance of his reports. First heard him as a college student in '70's...wish he was here still.

I grew up watching Daniel Schorr on CBS News. He was honor and truth. Serious journalism is disappearing. We need more truthtellers like Mr. Schorr. Rest in peace. We will miss you.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
