I knew Dan (& Laura) Tanis through my work history at Lyric Cinemas; having worked with many members of his family. To Kim, Beth, Laura, Bethany, Michael, Dolly, and their related family members; I extend sincere condolences. Due to Dan & Laura's love of cats, Linda Jankowski & I (Terry Williams) had several years of enjoyment with Lady & Gracie(TNR Community Cats) who are at present 9 years old. Lady is the consummate "head-bumper" greeting you at the door first; and Gracie greets you;...

Dan was a high school classmate of mine at Ludington Public Schools, and we graduated together in 1968. So, I've known him for over 50 years. He was naturally kind and courteous, although he liked to kid/joke around. Dan was a great friend in those school days. I believe I last saw him at our greater class reunion in Ludington for the classes of 1968-72, in 2022. My condolences to his family, he was such a great guy.
