A truly great man. A teacher, friend, and inspiration to those who knew him. He will be missed by all. His legend will live on in the spirit of music. My condolences to the family and friends in his life.

I will Miss this very gifted Loving Man. I enjoyed the excitement in his eyes when he would share his many wonderful musical accomplishments with me. To the Davis family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Davis was a kind, gentle educator and a true gift to the Agawam school system and to Agawam, he truly was the Music Man. I was in the colorguard and loved it! Parades, competitions, concerts, and of course the football games are such cherished memories. Thank you Mr. Davis, job well done, good and faithful servant, rest in peace. AHS Class of '81

Condolences to the family. Both John and I were part of Darcy's Broadway shows while in high school. He was a great guy with tremendous energy and love of music. He will be missed.

Darcy was my band teacher in the middle school and in high school and also in the alumni band he had after high school.
He was a very humble person and a father figure for many of his students.
Although life takes us away from these great teachers that leave a very big impression in our lives. They are always remembered and never forgotten.
