Hurley Funeral Home - Pleasanton Obituary

Darrell Len Barton, 63, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife beside him, on Thursday, June 24, 2021.  He was born on May 16, 1958, in Oakland, California.

Darrell was a kind-hearted man that believed in helping others in need.  Whether it was helping to fix a vehicle or to give a ride, he was a man that loved to do good for others. He was a truck driver and enjoyed working on small engines and other people’s vehicles.  He recently bought a 5th wheel for his wife's birthday with plans to gut it and redo it.  He enjoyed fishing but his heart really belonged to his Doxie dogs, then his wife.

Darrell is preceded in death by his father Porter Barton and his beloved fur baby Cleopatra.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Elizabeth Barton; mother, Patricia Storey; fur babies, Maggie the tiny dancer and Fearless; sister-in-law Leslie Keylich and her husband Larry.

Darrell is gone but will never be forgotten.
