Dave Calhoun

I am so sorry for your loss. While Dave and I worked for different judicial districts, we worked together on several statewide committees and work groups. Dave had a clear passion for helping others and it showed through in his commitment to creating the best possible services. Was one decent human being a fun guy to be around, haven't seen him for 40 yrs. Recently called him had a nice conversation, with plans to hook up soon!!

I worked with Dave during his short stay at ASP. I took to him quickly as a friend and someone I admired. Though we lost contact over the years we never forgot one another. On a trip to Anamosa to visit his mother he saw me and we immeadiatley reconized one another. We had dinner together that evening and caught up on the the years. We had a great time! His concern for others always inspired me. Who ever wrote his obit knew him well. Thak you for that!
