I will miss so much about Dave--his quick wit, his genuine smile, his sense of adventure, his pure pleasure in doing the things he loved to do, his encouragement, his generosity, his doggedness, his quiet presence in the same pew at UBC often cloaked in a coat many sizes too big. But most of all, I will miss his hugs. He was the best hugger! I imagine him tickling the ivories to his heart's content and looking around and clearly seeing all the beauty his eyes were robbed of for so many years!

Dave was our insurance man in Roseville. He was always jovial. My parents and Dave always traded stories. I had no idea Dave was a piano guy and so involved with other activities. See you on the other side.
