Your life was an example that the the Lord does keep His Word. We miss you and are looking forward to the time we will all be together again. It has only been a month since you have left us and it seems like an eternity. It breaks my heart every morning when I expect to see you in the living room watching the early news, and I realize you are no longer with us. I know you are in a better place than we are, but I know now that there is nothing more important than to lose the ones we love, if only temporarily. I miss you so very much.

David was a best friend who just so happened to be my brother. He was a person who would literally give the shirt off his own back to help someone in need, which I have seen many times. I admired that so much about him. -Mom, we have gone through so much as a family. We will get through this, I promise. I cannot fill his shoes, but as his little brother, I will do the best I can.
