David L. Byrd Sr.

I remember the entire Byrd family in the most positive way. Our years of going to church and Sunday School together are etched in my mind as a time of friendship and fun. When the church closed, I lost touch, but the good memories were cemented in my brain. I send my heart-felt regret on the passing of David, a good man gone too soon. My condolences to the Byrd family for your loss. I knew Dave from growing up in Watervliet and from NYS DSS. He was a good guy and a great athlete.

I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Dave when we both worked for DSS. I always enjoyed our conversations about sports when he came to my building to deliver packages. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to have know him. My prayers are with Dave and his family during this sad time. May he rest in peace.

I worked along side Dave as a courier at the Dept. of Social Services. There we became friends and he is a friend I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave and his family.
