Not sure what to say?

Mr. Couch - what a man of immeasurable dedication and perseverance!! As difficult as it was, he only cared about us learning the material - and we did. His family is in our prayers. We will never forget him!!!

Thank you Mr. Couch for not only being a great educator, but for being a wonderful, dedicated and inspiring teacher and mentor. You were one of the best teacher's I ever had and I would have never made it through high school math without your intelligence, guidance, generosity, tolerance and most of all your patience! You had such a great sense of humor and Lord knows you needed it, especially when I would hear you say, "Miss Parisi, that's it. Up front now!" So, off my desk and I went to the...

Mr. Couch was the only math teacher that ever made my mathmatically challenged brain kind of get it. He spent time with me everyday after school to get me from a D in Alegebra to an A!! He truly cared about his students and devoted his time, compassion and intelligence to countless IHS students over many years. What a gift he was to us all. Thanks Mr. C! Rest in peace knowing how much you gave and how many many lives you touched.

God Bless Mr. Couch. I teach middle school Math, and just like him, I zoom up the aisle to check papers, and if they're not ready...oh, well. I've always thought about his style when tweaking my own. He made me LOVE Physics.

I never had the opportunity to meet David Couch. I truly wish I could have. As I was working with his family I got a chance to learn a little about him. Reading the entries in his guestbook shows me what an incredible teacher he was. It sounds like David definitely emulated my favorite quote. "You may be one person in the world, but to one person you may be the world. Auf Weidersehen Herr Couch.

Mr. Couch had certainly made an impact on both my children's lives. He will always be remembered as one of the teachers that they will never forget and will accredit their futures to. Thank you so much, Mr. Couch, for being the teacher that you were. You will always be remembered. Thank you so much for you devotion and dedication to our children. I was in a state of shock to hear that Mr. Couch had passed. As an educator he always went out of his way to help others.
I will always appreciate the extra time Mr. Couch spent with me after school.
If you not sure of a particular problem Mr. Couch could find 3 ways in attaining the correct answer. He had incredible sense of humor even making Physics and Calculus fun.

I would like to extent my condolences to all of his family members. He will be deeply missed by this...

He was the best teacher I've ever had. I actually got the first A of my life in his Algebra I class....and it was entirely a credit to him, not me.
Bon Voyage, Mr. Couch, and thank you.
