Not sure what to say?

Jon, My mom called me from Texas to let me know about Nate. I can't tell you how sorry we both were to get the news from church. My heart aches for you and your family. I set out to see you in person and went to the wrong location. I apologize and will try my best to catch up with you very soon. Please know how much we care for you especially at this time.

I was lucky enough to meet Nater Tater when he was just a wee little boy. He stole my heart right away and I felt such a deep connection. I feel so lucky to have been his PT way back when, and will never forget his smile. I will see you again someday, Nate, and will think of you and your family with much love until then.

Next to Nate's momma I don't think anyone is going to miss him more than me. I don't know how to watch a movie in silence. ( that's when Nate always wanted to talk or hoop and holler) Or go to sleep with out his music playing or him calling me to come play at 2 AM. He was a wild man. No fear no quit attitude. A inspiration to me. When I had a ache or pain. I watched Nate with cast on both legs from double hip surgery roll over and scoot across the floor to get a toy. His way of telling me...

Nater Nater Alligator!!!! It seems like just yesterday I met "Joe Cool" with his sun glasses and ball cap at Angelwood Summer Camp. Time goes by so fast. I am thankful I had the opportunity to meet Nate watch him grow up. He was such "A BOY"!!!! He never missed a beat. As stubborn as he could be he could never truly hide the heart of gold that was with in him. There was no shortage of love for Nate. Noel----never doubt that God sent Nate to you. Nate was exactly as...

So sad to hear about Nate. Kellisa and Nate go all the way back to 2001 together and they had a special bond. One of my favorite stories to share with people is how two mostly non-verbal kids could communicate together enough to disrupt a classroom so much that they needed to be seperated. Most parents might not like their kids causing trouble at school, but I love this for two reasons. First, she obviously had a close friend and second, it was a very normal activity in very unnormal lives. I...

I am so sorry to hear about Nate's passing. As Kellisa's oldest friend and first crush, he holds a special place in our hearts. I remember picking Kellisa up from Lighthouse Learning Center and being informed that she had been blowing him kisses all morning, again. Every image I have of them together involves the two of them giggling mischievously as if they were hatching some sort of plot. I am thankful that our children had the opportunity to bring so much joy to each other, and I cherish...
