No one knows the heartache that lies behind our smiles, No one knows how many times we have broken down and cried. We want to tell you something so there won't be any doubt, You're so wonderful to think of but so hard to live without. We cannot bring the old days back, when we were all together, the family chain is broken now , but our memories will live forever. Happy Fathers Day! We miss you more than you could ever know.

David was a fine lawyer and, more importantly, a wonderful person. Always prepared, effective and ethical, he was a mentor to me when I was a young lawyer in 1985. I had cases both with and against David, and he was always a gentleman. Godspeed David.

I was saddened to read today's Florida Bar News and learn of David's death. I met David several years ago in a lawsuit in Tampa. He was a worthy adversary but always the consumate professional and gentleman. David was a role model for all Florida trial lawyers. Thoroughly prepared, articulate, logical, persuasive and skillful. I was saddened to hear that David passed away last month. I briefly ran into him at the Broward County Courthouse a few months ago in an elevator. We briefly discussed what he was going through. I could certainly relate given my bout with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2006. I had hoped that would he join the ranks of my fellow cancer survivors. Lorienne, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful words about your dear father. We are so very sorry for your loss. May your cherished memories of your beloved dad give you peace and strength in the months ahead.
Lissette, know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. I do wish I was close enough to give you a hug. My heart breaks for you but know that happiness and joy will come into your life once again. Take care.

David represented me in a medical malpractice case several years ago. He was the ultimate professional and guided me through a difficult period. We prevailed. His calm demeanor was a welcome accompaniment to his obsessive attention to every detail. The legal profession lost a shining star. Young lawyers would do well to have emulated him. I am sorry for your loss as a family and me for a caring professional with whom I had the privilege of working.

David was the best preparred attorney I ever met. A gentleman in and out of the courtroom, he was one of a kind and I will miss him.
