Not sure what to say?

I´ll never forget when I was chocking on a marble and David went home to put his Boy Scout uniform on before caring me home. He was a great help for me with some legal advice and thought he was a wonderful attorney.

Observant, perceptive, funny, loyal and generous. He could get right to the heart of a matter. He had a great memory.
He was my friend, from the first day of law school in 1961. In unity we survived Judge Owens, Professors Douthwaite, Strong, Blawie et al.
When Margaret & I married the next summer, Dave, Marian and infant Doug became our first neighbors, among our first couple friends, in the on-campus housing for married students. Sheet metal temporary buildings left over from...

A good man. Glad to have known him. Thinking about the family from here in Chicago

David was a real gentleman and a proud SCU Alum. David exemplified the Jesuit ideal in all he did. He was always a respectful lawyer when he appeared in my Court.
Justice Edward A. Panelli, Ret.

Susan, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Your dad helped me when I was in a car accident. Through his diligent work, I was able to celebrate my wedding in Hawaii. Hugs to you. Mary Ellen Erdo McWhirter

Dave was the best brother in law and uncle to my two boys that anybody could wish for. RIP for now and we will play 18 when I catch up with you.

I will miss our chats about Bellarmine's sports teams. I will fondly remember your amazing intellect, quick wit, and genuine support. A wonderful family man, an accomplished attorney, and simply a great role model. Uncle Dave, you were truly a man for others. Thank you for your guidance. God speed, rest in peace, and one last time: go bells.
