David Flakowitz

You were always so quiet, you went through a lot growing up. But you were always so kind to me and Krissy, so funny to hear you and Nana arguing and how sweet sometimes you were to her. I believe you are in heaven and I love you Fafa I believe I will be in heaven with you one day!

I am so sad to hear of Dave's passing. I first met Dave and Vickie when their kids were at York High School. I then worked with Dave at the brewery. Dave was always smiling and great to be around. He was always ready to lend a hand. All who knew him will miss him.

Since hearing the sad news of David's passing I have been thinking of the fun memories from Woodrow Wilson Elementary. Especially those
of walking home from school with the other neighborhood kids. And, of course, seeing his smiling friendly face in the halls of NNHS. He was always such a nice guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Hanging out at lunch, joking around on the walk home with the other neighborhood kids. He was always such a nice guy with a fun personality. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I hope that sharing your wonderful memories of David will help to ease the pain at this time of sorrow and loss.

Rest well by friend Flick, you are a tremendously fun and sweet man to hang with & thank for introducing my mama to my papa...

I am so sorry to hear this news. I worked for the HOA. He always came in to chat with me for a few minutes when he'd bring in the dues. Always joking about when he made his payments. Such a sweet man. One of the few residents I miss seeing.

David was a good friend of mine growing up in the east end of Newport News. I'll never forget driving him around in his 1961 Oldsmobile while I had my learners permit. I actually parallel parked that behemoth to get my drivers license. What a great guy! Left us way to soon. Godspeed David.
