David Lloyd Flohr

I offer you my heartfelt condolences. I feel honored that I had the opportunity to get to know and work Mr. Flohr at Hickory Farms. He gave me my first job at sixteen years of age. That was over fifty years ago. Mr. Flour was instrumental in teaching me leadership and responsibility. Thinking of your family.

Was doing an internet search for "Jade Dragon" and saw this. What a life! He had a hand in a little bit of everything. I crewed the Jade Dragon multiple times (and painted green...) and would have loved to have crewed for the canal. Worked at Hickory Farms for him and his family. My thoughts go out to his family!

I just learned of David´s passing. The phrase "a life well lived" comes to mind when I think of him. I was privileged to work for David and his family at their Hickory Farms Stores many year ago. He brought his family and anyone who knew him the gift of hard work, dedication, humor and honor. I learned a great deal from him and his so. Steve about work ethic.
