Not sure what to say?

Dear Judy and family.Iam so sorry for your loss.Dave was a great guy. Im sure he and EB are planning a fishing trip.Rest in piece Dave.

Rest in peace Dave. It was great working with you and for you at RFD for so many years.
I am glad you accomplished your dream of living by the sea where you could enjoy your boats
To Dave's family he was a man of honor who respected his people

To The David Griffith Family:

First and foremost, you all have a lot to be proud of. Your Dad had an exemplary career in the Rochester Fire Department. From Private to Fire Chief. You can't do better than that.

I worked with David both, when I was the President of the Rochester Firefighters' Union and later when I was assigned to the Fire Chief's Office. David was fair in his decisions, especially in our disciplinary procedures. David was a straight shooter, all he asked...

I served under Chief Griffith as a member of Group 1, while in Fire Investigation, and as the Capt in Planning & Research of the RFD. Chief Griffith was a good Chief and was always direct with his words and actions. As the Fire Chief, he was challenged by City Hall on a daily basis, trying to manage a department without sacrificing the safety of the firefighters. I am sorry for your loss.

RFD 1979-2010

Debbie and family-I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Thinking of all of you.

I knew David for several years when he served as Deputy Chief and Fire Chief. He was always a gentleman. Took time to visit the Dispatch Office along with fire stations just to see how things were going. He will be missed
