Not sure what to say?

We at HDJ (Hooker DeJong, Inc.) were saddened to learn of David's passing. He was a valuable member of our team for 6.5 years and remained friendly with many even after his departure from the firm. We extend our sincere condolences to the family as they mourn David's passing.

David ..im so heart broken. I just read about ur death on fb. My condolences to your family. You were a very good customer at my restaurant Sams Oasis and friend to me and Sam. You continued to come to the restaurant after Sam's death and continued to be my friend till I closed the restaurant. I'm going to miss your comments on fb. RIP DAVID

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

I always appreciated David's willingness to lead the charge for the GMB crew at the Grand River clean up day. It will not be the same without him.

Single Memorial Tree

I met David at a green drinks event some time ago and became friends. He was always willing to lend a hand and a huge supporter of local businesses and community organizations. An all around good person. I´m sorry to hear he is gone. I´ll miss him and his community building efforts.

Dave was so active with West Michigan Environmental Action Council, and I could always count on him to show up at our Green Drinks events with a smile on his face and an encouraging/enlighening/hilarious conversation as well. He also helped out with our annual Mayors' Grand River Cleanup. Dave will very much be missed by all of us at WMEAC - now go out there and volunteer somewhere like he'd want you to!

David was an acquaintance of mine from Mt Biking, Although I didn´t know him well I always thought he was a great person to volunteer for our trails! He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Bill
