Not sure what to say?

Really miss not having you to call when I need to bounce off some information. There will never be any one who can fill your shoes.
Blessings to you and your Family

I will forever miss my classmate, friend, and best sheriff Jefferson county ever had. Let's not forget the smile!

What an Amazing Man/Sheriff David Hobbs was truly one of a kind and truly loved his community. Its been a true pleasure to have known him for 14 years and how he helped us many times. He will be missed by so many especially his wonderful family. I know he was so excited to meet his grandbabies as we spoke of what fun he will have with two to love ( we too have twin grandbabies and i shared how much fun it is) and i know he will be watching them from Heaven above and we pray for his family as...

David, you were truly one of a kind. Thank you for your service and being a wonderful person. To Ms. Betty, Brenda, Brittany, Glen and the babies, My heart is broken and I pray that GOD comforts each and every one of you.

Sheriff Hobbs was genuine, professional, and kind; a true Servant Leader. Trusting The Holy Spirit to comfort the Hobbs' Family during this time. Praying God's Peace.

I want to thank David for often checking in on my mother after daddy passed. Your presence at my mothers funeral was a comfort.
Brenda you and your family have been on our minds and in our hearts since we learned about David Passing. We wish you the best and our prayers go out to you.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Celebrating a life well-lived!!!!!

Sometimes it's hard to understand the loss of one so dear, but the comfort of a loving God is always near. May God who is able to sustain us through everything, grant each of you with HIS perfect peace at this time and always.

Jefferson County has suffered a great lost, but GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE!!!

Rest Easy Sheriff.............
