Not sure what to say?

Pat & family
David was always the consummate gentleman, with gracious and wise advice for me as a young and inexperienced physician, first in the emergency at the Alex, then later at the AMA. I benefited greatly from his counsel. Please accept my sincere condolences for his death, and also be comforted by the enduring positive influence he provided to his profession, his patients , and to his community.

I was a member of David's photo club, he even allowed me to photograph him a couple of years ago when I was learning a new camera and lighting technique. During our photo session I learned many things, he went out of his way to help me.
David was a kind, considerate and giving man, I will miss him very much.

To the Irving Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences.

Although it's been some years since I actually communicated with Dr. Irving through work at the AMA, I will always remember him as a gracious and accomplished man.

Edmonton has lost a great internist.

Helen and I extend our deepest condolences to David's family. He was an extraordinary man. It was an honor to know him and have worked with him.

Dear Mrs. Irving.
My father and I are very sad to hear about your loving husband. You both were so generous with your time and attention to my 90-year-old dad on that once-in-a-lifetime trip to South Africa. We send you our love and most sincere condolences.
