Not sure what to say?

I served with him on the USS Preble, I thought it was a great captain unlisted by the captain and I talked for a couple of minutes in the wardroom after the reenactment very likable man. I thought he would go someplace and I found out he did need Admiral. I´m very sorry he´s gone, it was a wonderful man and a great leader STG 1 Hurley baird

Often, the warm image of Dave's smiling face...his good nature, floats into our minds. Good Friends, Gary & Mary Myers

Sorry to hear about Admiral Jeremiah passing I lost contact since I served under him in 1976 uss Preble westpac.I always thought he would go far and do great things his family should be proud. I know I was proud to serve with him he was loved by all on the ship he will always be my captain, what a fair man

Was just thinking about Dave yesterday as we were watching the loving Trump supporters outside at which years ago I made a Pastoral visit to friend Dave (and Connie). That seeing the hospital started us thinking about all the years we shared as good neighbors, raising our kids together, church workers and 'being with' through all they became. Have not been in touch in recent time but continue to send the most lovingly warm thoughts, today to Connie, Krista and Jodie. Rev. Mary & Gary Myers

I am so sorry it took this long to write here....his presence I am sure will be missed by many....my memories are back in Virginia of bbq's play and family fun....a decorated career....but an even better person..

Dear Mrs. Jeremiah,
My deepest condolences and prayers go out to you and family of the loss of our beloved Admiral David Jeremiah. It was an honor and privilege to have served him as COMPACFLT and VCJCS. I always looked forward to a new day everyday I served under his command. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Lou Abaya

Admiral Jeremiah was an inspirational leader who empowered his people to excel in their work. He made serving our country an honor and a privilege.

Dear Connie and Family:
Dave was one of the most influential friends I have had over the years. From the time I first worked with him on the USS McGinty (DE-365), during the Rose Festival visits, and into his retirement he remained one of the 'Good Guys'! Truly a example of a person to emulate. And a Leader of the first order.
Thank you Connie for sharing him with us over the years.

Our condolences to Connie and family. Dave was a respected visitor to Australia for Coral Sea services and a friend to the Australian-American Association.
