Not sure what to say?

What a very special soul! David was one of those rare individuals who always made you feel special. His signature was his terrific smile that lit up the room. We have been honored to share time with him. Sending the entire family our sincerest condolences, with wishes for continued healing and support from the many friends who hold them dear Love, Earl and Glenna Alderson

The world lost a beautiful man when Dave passed. We enjoyed many years of friendship with Dave at Kiwanis meetings and events like the annual crab feed, and Christmas parties. Dave brought joy to so many people. Blessings to you, Carolyn, and the family. Bud and Terry McMillin

Dave was one of the most positive, delightful people I´ve ever known. I had the pleasure of having two of his children as students at Modesto´s Fremont Open Plan. Being a parent participation school, Dave and Carolyn were all in. When they were involved, it was always joy and fun filled. I fondly remember our class winning a contest to have the Oscar Mayor Weiner mobile come to school. Dave was also instrumental in leadership for our overnights aboard the CA Thayer In San Francisco. His...

Carolyn and family, We were so sorry to hear about Dave. He always made us laugh and his positive attitude was infectious. I remember him and my dad spending a whole day putting together the Oscar Mayer/Kraft orders and actually having fun doing it. Love and condolences from the Venturini family.

Rest in Pease ole friend. Your fellow Kiwanians will miss you. John Hertle Great Modesto Kiwanis

I only hope you always knew how much your friendship/brotherhood meant to me. You always challenged me by your loving and laughing example. God bless you. God bless the Jones family.

Dear Carolyn and Wendy, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We only met David once but he was so friendly and cheerful...we remember him from our visit to Pat and Judy some years ago. Our sympathies to you and your family, Kathy and Andrew Perry

I´m so sorry for your loss Carolyn. David had a smile and a personality of joy. Although I didn´t know him well, my husband Adrian Alton did. Their lives crossed in relation to their jobs. Adrian always described David as a wonderful man. Take care of yourself and know that you´re in our prayers.

He was a wonderful, kind, caring man! I counted on him to always have a positive perspective, to be encouraging and uplifting! He will be very much missed at Grace First Lutheran Church.
