Not sure what to say?

Marilyn,
We are thinking of you and keeping you, and your family, in our prayers.

Dear Marilyn,
It was so heart wrenching to hear about Dave's passing.
I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling.
I remember many things that happened in kindergarten that will stick with me for life, but one thing I will never forget is when Dave used to pass his prosthetic leg around for show and tell.
But, of course something like that surely would stick out.
I never realized it at the time, but today I am so thankful for that experience. I...

Dear Marilyn and family,
Please know that our thoughts are with you during this very sad time. We lost our Keith just a year ago and know exactly what you must be feeling. We are so very glad that we got an opportunity to meet David in your classroom at Larchmont during the years that Bobby, Keith and Jesse were in your class. What a wonderful person he was and will be remembered for that wonderful smile! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was sad to hear that Dave had died. His joy was contagious. His love of life was indomitable. I am thankful to have known him.

Your children are a testimony that will continue. Your students are part of your legacy. From one in the neighborhood, you'll certainly be missed.

The saw jumped out of the saw groove and, well, Dave at that time could still see I think, but not too well, and he didn't see the saw was out of the cut so he kept on sawing. Unfortunately for me, the saw went right across my knuckle and he kept sawing before I could let out a holler. Anyway, I still have the scar and...

Marilyn, Kris and Kari,
I was very sad to hear of your loss. David was one of the most positive upbeat and inspirational people that I've ever had the pleasure to know. He definitely left his imprint on everyone. My sincerest condolences.

Dear Marilyn and family,
Jean, Larry and I are thinking of you today. We know Dave's memorial service will be filled with great music and great thanksgiving for a life well lived.
Love to all
Pam

Marilyn,
My deepest sympathy to you and your children. I will never forget you and David dancing for the kindergarten class my daughter Michelle Rayburn was in about 15 yrs ago. What fun it was to watch both of you enjoy "The Dance". You may recall I was at your home for dinner 15 yrs ago and David was so awe inspiring. How uplifting to see his wonderful intellect, spirit and zest for life in spite of his lost eyesight. Michelle and I were truly inspired by him and we attempt to...
