Dave and I were the same age and grew up as close friends in Tyler. Although we were seperated by the war, college and job assignments, we stayed in touch. He was a great friend. All who knew him were truly blessed.

To Dave's family my sincere condolences during what I know to be a most surly difficult time.

I worked closely with Dave in attending to the Dresser needs in the Dresser Tower.

Dave was a great guy, a friend and always a gentleman. He will be missed by many who had the good luck to know him and to be around him.

God Bless him and the family he leaves behind to carry on his legacy.

Dearest Korkmas Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. What a wonderful legacy Dave left for all of you. The sweetest, kindest person, a genuine gentleman; so thankful for the memories we have been able to share with your family.

I will always miss Dave's kindness and great smile. My condolences to his family. My late husband worked with Dave at Dresser and later became his CPA. After my husband passed I had the great pleasure of continuing to do Dave's tax work. It was heart warming to see how lovingly he took care of Helen when she was ill. Through all these years I have considered Dave a dear friend. He will be greatly missed.

David Kormas III is our neighbor and he and wife Karen have become our dear friends over the past years. Having met Mr. Korkmas Jr. we can state that the qualities we admire in his son were surely imparted through him and his wife. May the Perpetual Light shine upon David J. Korkmas, Jr.

Dear David and Danny and all your family, I can't think of any time in my childhood in which "Dave and Helen" (said as one word) weren't a loving constant in our lives. Your family and ours were so lovingly intertwined. I am sending my deepest condolences as you go through this process of saying goodbye. Love, Gretchen

It was my pleasure to help Helen and Dave with their banking needs for many years in Bellaire. I could always see the love they had for each other and the care Dave gave to Helen when she became ill. Sorry for the loss for your family.

I first meet Dave in September of 1968, the day he hired me. I continued working for and with him until his retirement in December of 1986. Dave was not just my boss he was my mentor and friend. Dave got me pointed in a direction that ultimately had me replacing him when he retired, I am forever greatful. I know he will be surely missed by family and friends. My prayers and condolences to the family.
