Not sure what to say?

It´s A Beautiful Day everyday here in in San Francisco because of you DAVID. Thank you for your for leaving us with your beautiful music. RIP

I just searched David´s name on google and I saw that he had passed away. I´m so sorry. They say to mimic someone is a basic form of flattery. I´m 71 yrs old and back when I was a teenager I was in a band. I play guitar and violin. I got enthralled with David´s style of violin and style of the SanFrancisco music . Our band played several of Its a Beautiful Day songs. He was a big part of my life back then. Rest in peace and may you find a soft place to land on "Soapstone Mountain" with the...

I saw him in diwn town Portland Oregon where I'm from in the mid-late 70s. I forget the name of the bar/lounge, but it was a hot spot. He signed a "its a beautiful day" half speed master lp for me. His wife, Linda signed it as well even though she was not on the album. She noted that when I asked her to sign. It was of course a small venue. I was lucky enough to sit at the bar, share a drink and chat with him a bit. He was really melow cool, I'll never forget it. I'm a shy person but when...

Nancy Bergen. I had the privilege of seeing and hearing David LaFlamme and It's A Beautiful Day at The Bottom Line in New York City years ago. It was one of the best shows I ever attended. Even though he has died, when I look at the poster and see the words 'It Is Still A Beautiful Day", I think of how fortunate we were to have had him as a musician of our time.

Still letting each of my grandchildren hear White Bird for their first time!

Was introduced to IABD by my peddle steel player Billy who use to put on Marrying Maiden when we drank whiskey together. The album is a trip. And Fred Neil's Dolphins. Anyway loved David's unique way of putting fiddle or electric violin into rock rythm melodic music. I read everything I could find about David etc. And the course of the band. Sorry to hear he has died. To die is to be human and he was truly that.

I am so sorry to hear of David´s passing. I heard It´s A Beautiful Day play several times in San Francisco and once in Utah years later. No one could match David´s voice and violin. "White Bird" was just magical. I had all of their albums. I still play all of their music today, and I am in my 70´s. David and his band brought so much beautiful music to the world for so many years. May David sing and play his violin forever with the Angels. Peace be with all of you during this time. With much...

So happy got to hear him play in a small venue in San Diego a few years ago. A bucket list concert for this old fan. Have the first two albums on cd. Can't begin to tell you what his music and those first two album covers mean to me. Sympathies To Family, Friends & Fans alike. For Those Who Love, Time Is Eternity.

My husband and I are both so sorry to hear of David´s passing. He was one of the greats, His music has never gotten old. Please accept our condolences for someone we would have wished many more years.
