Not sure what to say?

Rest in heaven Mr.Lang. You were my mentor, colleague and most importantly a friend . I will be forever grateful to you Miss you Mr.Lang the forever prankster.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr Lang's passing. My daughter attended Western (02-06) and ran on their track team and he was a main fixture at many of their major meets. He really supported the athletic teams of Western. As an all girl school, you may think that a male athletic director wouldn't care or be concerned about a bunch a female athletes. But he put his heart and soul into those young ladies which helped Western to become one of the most athletically talented school in the whole...

Sharon: I was shocked today when I opened my mail and friend in Md sent me the obit of Daves..My days with Dave
or Izzy as we called him back in the Towson soccer team days..What wonderful memories I have of the time
we spent out on the fields..I would see him at various soccer games over the years..Many times my wife and I would come across dave and you in a store or mall over the years. He will be missed my all in education that his paths crossed..Coach Jack McDonald

David was a colleague of mine at Walbrook in the mid-seventies and at Southwestern HS in the eighties. I retired from Western in 2001, one year after David joined Western's faculty. David was a most dedicated, caring, competent professional who was highly respected by his students and peers. My deepest sympathy to you at this terrible time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Barbara Hamaker Gudenius, English Dept. Head at Southwestern and Western 1979-2001

Mr. Lang, words cannot express what you meant to us. I want to thank you for being in my life the last 5 years. Like a grandfather you were always wise and helped me to expand my horizon about sports in general. As a man you helped me to realize that family is more important then anything else. Western and Baltimore City will never be the same. Coach Chris
