My Dear Doctor David Paul Magnus was a Perfect Class Act Gentleman as well as Renowned Specialist...
The last time I saw Doctor was just before His Retirement. I always told Him what He meant to me, He said in return, "do you know who is my longest
Lasting surviving patient"?, I said no?, He said, You Conley ! :-), I then gave Dr. A Hug. I called every so often, He would always say call Me again in three months :-), the last call, Dr. Was happily waiting for His Sons arrival....

We are so sorry to hear our friend of many years, David Magnus has passed away. We send our condolences to the family and recall with a smile our many memories of him.

When we lived in Iowa City during residency, David would knock on the door to borrow our lawn mower or seed spreader. He always had a warm smile and happy words to greet us. Many busy hours were spent together in the halls of Iowa U hospital. Our daughter died of ML so we appreciate the struggle and heartbreak. ...

Sorry to hear about his death. He was a soft spoken and caring physician at MGH. I saw him at the physician lounge about 2 years ago. Just heard about his passing. My condolences...
