Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear of David's passing. We went to high school together and always had a laugh riding the bus to school. Years later, I ended up with him in an eye exam, and we had more laughs remembering old friends and old times. He was always a sweet and interesting guy, even in high school. I am so sorry for your loss, and the loss to the world.

To the family of Dr. Milliken,
We were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Dr. Milliken. He had been our family's eye doctor since his years with Dr. Price, and we continued seeing him when he started his own practice. He was always willing to explain the eye to my children, made vision exams fun for them, and never spoke down to them, even when they were very young. He never rushed an appointment, and you could see the joy he felt being surrounded by work he found fascinating. ...

I saw Dr. Milliken for my yearly contact lens check for the past 25 years - since I was in high school. I kept returning to Scituate to see him even long after I moved close to Boston, because of his genuine caring. He always asked about my work, and we talked about gardening. It was a terrible shock to learn he is gone from this world. My condolences to the family during this difficult time.

My wife, daughter, and I were all patients of Dr.Milliken. We could not have received any better care for our eyes.He gave me excellent follow-up care after having both cataracts removed last year. I was completely shocked and saddened when the office told me today. His "chairside" manner was so genuine and caring. What an honor to have known such a human being.

Dr. Milliken cared for my eyes for years and I always enjoyed seeing him. We had conversations and connected on a personal level and he was always a kind and compassionate professional. I send my condolences to his friends and family whose loss is immeasurable. I will miss him at my eye exams.

May the God of comfort bring the family peace in their time of grief.

To the family and staff at Dr. Milliken's office,
We were extremely shocked and sadden to hear about what had happened...Dr. Milliken was truly a wonderful doctor who had such a kind and caring personality...we remember one time in particular when my husband came in to pick up our son's contact lenses and Dr. Milliken took the time to talk to him about a problem he had been having with his eyes...my husband did not have an appointment, yet Dr. Milliken took a good 20 to 25 minutes to just...

You will be greatly missed Dr. Milliken! My heart goes out to your family and friends during this tragic time. I've only known you for a year but I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to meet you and your staff at Milliken Eye Care. I'm blessed to have met such a kind, caring and gentle soul. May you rest in peace and may your loved ones find peace as they heal from your loss. Your light will shine brightly in those who lost you.

We are heartbroken for the family of Dr. Milliken. We only knew him as patients, but will miss him as a cherished friend. It was never just an eye exam, he had an interest in each of us and an enthusiasm for life. He was a rare man with a generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by us all.
