My condolences to the family of Mr.O , I,along with so many others have so many unforgettable memories of a Ironworker an freind named Dave Oliver. I had the pleasure of working an playing with Dave for what seems to be a life time, he was comical, philosophical, a bull, an at times a gentle man with a heart of gold. I could go on with his tributes but anyone that knew Mr.O, knows them. It does sadden me of his passing an at same time, satisfying to know he is now at...

Dave and I first met in 1970 when we both became Ironworkers in Local #15. We became instant friends and that friendship stood the test of time for almost 50 years! Dave was truly unique. Do you know anyone else who ever got a great deal on 100 cases of beer and turned them into furniture? May you...

I met Dave in the very early 70s as a Brother Member of Ironworkers Local Union 15. Right from the beginning Dave was an easy guy to like and work with, his honesty and humor had a way of bumping into each other but there was no malice and as dave used to say, "hey, it is what it is". Dave was an " Ironworker philosopher " who's stories will,be told by all who knew him for years to come.
See you on the big one, Brother Dave. R.I.P. ✝
