Not sure what to say?

I just wanted to express my deepest sympathies to Dave's family. I had the priviledge of having Dave as my friend, and I am so thankful that God gave me the chance to know him, even thought it seemed like such a short time. He was one of the greatest guys I have ever met...just by looking at him, you could tell that he was so full of life. He just had that look in his eyes all the time, like he enjoyed whatever he was doing. It made you feel good just to be around him. I know he will live...

We learned of your loss at the Steed Family Reunion this past Saturday. Our prayers and love are with you. Bob and Robyn Steed

A few weeks ago a woman teacher was killed in an auto accident. She was very, very well liked, so the school systems shut down for her funeral and it was on the news and so on. On the day the workers came back to work,
they found this poem in their e-mail that the deceased woman had sent on Friday before she left for home.
If tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you...

Scott,
I just wanted you to know how much it hurts me knowing that dave is gone. and how it must be for you. you are in our
thoughts at all times. you know how to reach me if you need anything. love ya, Ross and Sue

Although I didn't know Dave as well as I would have liked, what I did know was impressive. He was always so upbeat and loved to tease. He always had that mischievious tone in his voice. My heart breaks for the family. As a mother myself I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. I hope you can find some comfort. He will be deeply missed in the EMS community. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Dispatcher, Davis County Sheriff's Office.

Michele, I was sorry to hear of your son's tragic accident. It has been a long time since I have seen you, since the days of Alpha Beta, but know that my thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Parsell and Stuart families, I am so sorry about your tragic loss of Dave. My deepest sympathy, love, and my prayers go out to you all. May God's spirit comfort you, and may precious memories bring you peace in your times of sadness.

I did not know Scott, but I knew his parents. I am saddened to hear of your loss and my heart goes out to you all. Your family is in my prayers and thoughts.
