Dave was a wonderful musician and a true professional. Although I had not kept in contact with him over the years I was always aware of his outstanding contribution to our military music program. He had a great career in the U.S.Army Band (Pershing's Own) and was an inspiration for me to pursue my own future within the U.S. Army Band program. His memory will live on in all his friends and those he touched with his beautiful music.

Over 30 years ago we met as music students at Ithaca College. You were someone I looked up to and admired, then and now. You will never be forgotten old friend.
