Not sure what to say?

David was a great guy with a sweet smile & a huge heart. He loved big & we were all better for it. I really enjoyed visiting & joking with him whenever I saw him. He was always ready to help anyone who needed it. It’s hard to believe he’s not here but I know he lives on in spirit & in our hearts. I love you, Cousin.

Comfort Planter

My beloved cousin...I still can't wrap my mind around the idea that he's gone. David was always kind, sometimes quiet and all around super chill. And in these last couple of years, I learned how brave and courageous he was. I will miss him. Rest In Peace, David.

My brother David was a quiet, shy person who grew up to be one of the most outgoing men I would ever meet. He had ideas of what it meant to believe in something. He had a heart as big as anyone's. He knew when people needed him to be strong or when he needed be someone to talk to. He was funny . He was happy and brave. He was something different to everyone he met. But to me, he was my little brother.

Dave, you were a friend to all. Your smiling face and big orange hat will be missed at Minute Maid Park, but I hope you have the best seat in the house. Even those who did not know you knew of you. Thank you for setting a prime example by giving back to the community and fighting strong through your battles. Till we meet again...

My deepest sympathies.May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Always remember that God keeps in his memory those whom we lose because they are precious in his eyes (Psalms 116:15)

I had the great pleasure of working with David but was blessed to call him friend above all else. David was one of the truly great guys. He was kind, and generous, and always welcoming. He was a joy to know and he will be greatly missed.

David with always be remembered as my shy cousin with a beautiful smile and a big heart. He was always one of the many highlights of the family reunions. He will be missed David. May God bring comfort and understanding to Tio, Tia and cousins. Love y'all ~ Cynthia, Jeff and Elizabeth

Dave was one of a kind. His smile and personality would light up a room and he was a kind and gentle soul. He was our founder of the BHP and we will continue to represent the Astros in his memory although his shoes will be hard to fill. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
